White Bread Recipe – Basic White Yeast Bread – eggless white bread

Soft and puffy white breads are found in almost every household . A common food on our menu . Many people prefer eating homemade and fresh  white bread rather than buying out from market. You can make this bread very easily. Make it and prepare sanwiches and many other innovative dishes out of it.

Here is an easy recipe with pictures to make white bread. Slice the bread and use it to make sandwiches or any other dish. You can also pack it in your kids lunch box. I am sure they will relish it.

Directions

Making:

Take refined flour in a big mixing bowl and make a small well at the centre. Put sugar, salt, instant dry active yeast and oil in the well and mix everything thoroughly. Now add milk in the flour as well and mix nicely.white bread

Then add lukewarm water in small portions and knead soft dough as required for making chapatti. Knead the dough continuously for 4 to 5 minutes until it becomes smooth. More than ½ cup of water is used to knead this much amount of flour.

Evenly grease a bowl with some oil and put the dough in it. Apply some oil on the dough as well then cover and keep it aside for 20 minutes to set.

20 to 25 minutes later, dough will get fermented. There is no need to punch the dough after fermentation as we have used instant dry active yeast. Put the dough in the greased tray and spread it evenly.

white bread Apply some oil all over the dough. Cover and keep the dough aside for 2 hours in warm place. 2 hours later, dough will become puffy and it will be ready to bake as well.

Preheat the oven at 200 degree centigrade then bake the bread for 25 minutes at 200 degree centigrade. 25 minutes later, bread will get baked aptly. White bread is ready, take out the bread and place it on wire rack for 15 minutes so that it cools down completely.

Rava Toast with your favorite green chutney and a tea party with friends is like bliss . This crispy and crunchy toast takes very less of time to prepare and is very scrumptious to eat. I am sure everyone will relish eating this amazing snack of crispy Veg suji bread toast. The rava in the Rava toast recipe gives it a grainy texture and a crunchy feel to it. You couldn’t surely resist to munch on it.

Here is an easy step by step recipe with pictures to make crispy Instant Rava toast.  Cut and serve these Crunchy Rava Toast with green coriander chutney, tomato sauce or with any chutney of your choice and have a delightful snack time. 

Direction: 

Making :

To make rava toast start with preparing the batter with semolina, curd and veggies. Take 1/2  cup Semolina in a big bowl, and add 1/ 2 cup curd to it. Mix till all of it mixes well. Aso add 1 finely chopped green chili with its seeds removed so that it becomes less spicy. Then add less than 1/2 inch of finely chopped ginger add it and then add 1/2 tsp salt. Add 2 tbsp finely chopped tomatoes, 2 tbsp finely chopped capsicum, 2 tsp green coriander and mix all the ingredients well to make the batter. Keep the batter aside for 5 minutes.  rava toast

 

Batter is ready. Now take 6 slices of bread. Then spread batter over the bread. Put 1 to 2 spoons of batter over the bread and spread it evenly. Bread is ready and batter is spread over it. We have spread batter over 2 breads to make toast. Likewise prepare the rest of the toasts.rava toast

 

Put the girdle on flame to heat for roasting the breads. Spread the ghee over the girdle and grease it and let the girdle heat for a while. Make sure you heat the girdle to medium heat and keep the flame medium low. Put the bread on the girdle to roast. Roast the bread till it golden brown from below. Serving :

Crispy and tempting Rava toast is ready. Take it out from the girdle. It took 6 to 7  minutes to roast the Rava toast at once. To serve the yummy Rava toast, you can cut and serve them.   • You can take white or brown bread as desired.
  • If desired you can make the toast without ghee as well.

Now add 1 tbsp of oil into it. Mix it really well. Then add lukewarm water in small portions and knead a soft dough. Grease the hand with some oil and knead the dough continuously for 5-6 minutes until it becomes smooth. 1 cup and 2 tbsp of water is used for kneading this much amount of flour.

Apply some oil on hand and lift the dough. Place it into the greased container shaping it accordingly. Spread the dough evenly with the help of the fingers. Now cover and keep the dough inside the oven and place a bowl filled with boiled water near it for 2-3 hours to set. You can also place it inside the almirah.

After 3 hours, check the dough. It has doubled in size. Preheat an oven at 220 degree centigrade. Now place a wire rack inside it and keep the container on it. Bake the bread for 15 minutes at 220 degree centigrade. After 15 minutes, take out the container. Bread hasn’t baked aptly. Place it back inside the oven and bake the bread for another 8 minutes.

After 8 minutes, take the container out. Bread has turned golden brown in color. It is baked aptly. Allow it to cool down completely. Then move a knife around the edges of the container and flip the side of the container. Bread will come out.

Slice the bread into ½ cm inch thick pieces and have this delicious and soft whole wheat bread warm as it is. Once it cools down completely, store it in a container and place it in refrigerator. It keeps good for 2-3 days.

This recipe is especially for the peoples who don’t have ovens or microwaves and complains about how can they make homemade buns without them.

Take a big vessel and pour 3-4 cups of water into it. Cover the vessel and let it simmer. Grease a steel colander as well.

Meanwhile, prepare the stuffing. For this, place a pan on flame. Once it gets heated, pour the oil into it. Now add chopped carrot, green peas, chopped capsicum, ginger paste, green chilly, salt and coriander powder. Mix all the ingredients really well. Cover the pan and cook the veggies for 2 minutes. Check later.

After 2 minutes, take the lid off. Veggies have turned slightly tender. Now add crumbled paneer, red chilly powder, garam masala and dry mango powder into the veggies. Keep stirring continuously for a minute so that everything mixes well.

Once everything is mixed well, turn off the flame. Add chopped green coriander into it. Transfer it to a bowl so that it cools down quickly.

Dough has puffed up as well. Slightly knead the dough again. Make small balls from the dough as required for making chapatti. Lift a ball and make it smooth. Give it a bowl shape by pressing it with fingers.

After that, put 2 tsp of stuffing on the dough. Press the stuffing with the back of a spoon. Lift the edges of the dough and close the stuffing nicely. Shape it as a bun and place it on a plate. Similarly, prepare the rest of the buns until the dough is utilized completely.

Once the water in the vessel starts boiling, place the greased steel colander on the vessel. Put the prepared buns on the colander, maintaining some space between each buns. Put the lid on. Let the buns steam for 15-20 minutes.

After 20 minutes, take the lid off. Steamed masala buns are now steamed aptly. Turn off the flame. Transfer the buns on a plate. Similarly, steam the rest of the buns.
