Dry fruits laddu can protect your body from cold winters, packed with protein and vitamins these laddus are very Winter Special Laddusdelicious. For the preparations of dry laddus, will not use sugar, ghee, or flour. We will prepare dry fruits ladoos with selective dry fruits and jaggery.
So, follow the directions below along with the images to prepare delicious and nutritious dry fruits laddus.
Directions:
1. Dry roast 1/2 cup of sesame seeds till their color changes.
2. Dry roast 1/4 cup watermelon seeds over medium flame until they puff up.
3. Roast 1/2 cup of poppy seeds till their color changes.
4. Take 1/2 cup grated dry coconut and roast briefly over low heat.
5. Next, roast 1 cup of fox nuts over a low flame till the color changes lightly.
6. Add 1/4 cup of almonds to the pan and dry roast over medium heat till they puff up.
7. Roast 1/4 cup of peanuts for a minute.
8. Coarsely grind sesame and watermelon seeds together.
9. Next, grind dry coconut & poppy seeds coarsely.
10. Grind fox nuts (Makhana) separately.
11. Add almonds & peanuts to the mixer and grind coarsely.
12. Mix all the dry fruits powder in a bowl.
13. Add 260 grams of chopped jaggery, 3 tbsp of water to the Kadai and melt jaggery over medium heat.
14. Once the jaggery melts, add 1 tsp of sonth powder, 1 tsp of coarsely crushed white pepper, 1 tsp of grated nutmeg, and 1 tsp of coarsely crushed cardamom to it.
15. Add the dry fruits mixture to the jaggery syrup and mix well.
16. Take the mixture out in a bowl and allow it to cool down.
17. Apply ghee to your hands, take out some mixture, and bind the laddus using both hands.
18. Prepare laddus from the whole laddu mixture.
19. Dry fruit laddus are ready to be served.
- Peanut - ¼ Cup, (45 grams)
- Jaggery - 260 gms
- Sesame Seeds - ¼ Cup (35 grams)
- Watermelon Seeds - ¼ Cup (45 grams)
