Caramel Kheer Recipe | खास केरेमल स्वाद वाली चावल की खीर | Caramel payasam recipe

 

Caramel dessert is a unique recipe of dessert which is scrumptious to eat. It is a dessert which is made up of caramelized sugar and basic Kheer. It is scrumptious to eat and has a mouth-drooling taste. 

Here is a step by step recipe to make caramel dessert along with pictures. The picture depiction makes it easier to cook it and serve it hot or cold as per your desire. 

Direction: 

Getting Ready:

Boil a litre of milk in a vessel. 

Stir it once or twice in between of the process. 

Chop 10 to 12 cashews. 

Take 4 green cardamoms, peel them and grind them coarsely ground. 

After boiling the milk, add a ¼ cup of soaked rice to it and stir well. 

Cook until it reaches to the thicker consistency and rice melts. 

The kheer will be cooked after half an hour. 

Preheat a pan, add a tbsp of clarified butter and melt it. 

Roast the chopped cashews in it until its colour changes. 

Roast 1 to 2 tbsp of raisins to it. 

Preheat a pan and add a ½ cup of sugar in it. 

Stir and cook it on medium to high flame. 

Switch off the flame once the sugar melts. 

Mix some water to it and decrease its temperature. 

Switch on the flame, add it the Kheer and cook while stirring it. 

Add the roasted dry fruits, cardamom powder to the dessert. 

Cook it for 1 to 2 minutes. 

Caramel dessert is ready to be served. 

Garnish it with chopped pistachios.

  • You can serve it hot or cold as per your desire.

  • Milk (full cream) - 1 litre
  • Rice (soaked) - ¼ cup (50 grams)
  • Sugar - ½ cup (100 grams)
  • Raisins - 1 to 2 tbsp
  • Cashews - 10 to 12
  • Cardamoms - 4
  • Pistachios (chopped) - 1 tsp
  • Ghee - 1 tbsp
Instructions
  1. - Take a litre of milk in a vessel and boil it on high flame.
  2. - Stir it once or twice in between of process.
  3. - In the meantime, chop 10 to 12 cashews.
  4. - Take 4 green cardamoms, peel them and make their powder.
  5. - After boiling the milk, add a ¼ cup of soaked rice to it and stir it.
  6. - Cook until it reaches to the thicker consistency and rice melts.
  7. - The kheer will be cooked after half an hour.
  8. - Preheat a pan, add a tablespoon of clarified butter and melt it.
  9. - Add the chopped cashews to it and roast them.
  10. - Roast until its colour changes.
  11. - After roasting the cashews, roast 1 to 2 tablespoons of raisins too.
  12. - Preheat a pan, add a ½ cup of sugar to it and cook on medium to high flame.
  13. - Stir and cook until sugar dissolves in it.
  14. - Cook while stirring it furiously and until it melts.
  15. - After the sugar melts well and becomes brown then switch off the flame.
  16. - Mix some water to it and cover it.
  17. - Switch on the flame, add it the Kheer and cook while stirring it.
  18. - Add the roasted dry fruits, cardamom powder to the Kheer and cook it for 1 to 2 minutes.
  19. - Caramel Kheer is ready to be served.
  20. - Garnish it some chopped pistachios.
