Yogurt Recipe | ग्रीक योगर्ट एवं फ्रूट योगर्ट कैसे बनायें. | Fresh Fruit Yogurt Recipe

 

Yogurt and Greek yoghurt are edible which are healthier to eat. Yoghurt is smoother in its texture whereas curd is thick. Yoghurt is made up of two bacteria and curd is made up of one bacteria. 

Here is a step by step recipe to make yoghurt along with pictures. This recipe will help you to make it perfect without facing any issue. 

Direction: 

Getting Ready:

Boil a litre of milk in a vessel. 

After it starts boiling, turn the flame to low and cook for 5 minutes. 

After 5 minutes, pour it in a vessel and decrease its temperature. 

Add 2 to 3 tsp of homemade yoghurt to it.

Cover and place it in a warm place for 4 to 5 hours.

The yoghurt has fermented after 5 to 6 hours.

For greek yoghurt

Take a bowl and place a strainer over it.

Spread a cotton cloth over it. 

Add yoghurt to it.

Close it and keep it aside for 30 to 45 minutes to set. 

The yogurt will ferment after 45 minutes. 

For flavoured greek yogurt.

Add a tsp of frozen mango pulp to it and mix well. The mango yogurt is ready to be served.

Add some chopped blackberry along with a tsp of honey to it and mix well. The blackberry yogurt is ready to be served. 

Add some frozen pineapple to it and mix well. The pineapple yogurt is ready to be served. 

Add 1 to 2 tsp of mixed fruit jam to it and mix well. The mixed fruit jam flavoured yogurt is ready to be served.

Suggestions 

  • You can drink whey water as it is very beneficial for health.

  • Full cream milk - 1 litre
  • Yogurt - 2 tbsp
  • Fruits - According to taste
Instructions
  1. - Boil a litre of milk in vessel.
  2. - After it starts boiling, turn the flame to low and cook for 5 minutes.
  3. - After 5 minutes, pour it in a vessel and decrease its temperature.
  4. - Add 2 to 3 teaspoons of homemade yogurt to it.
  5. - Cover and place it in a warm place for 4 to 5 hours.
  6. - You can even wrap it in a towel and place an electric pillow over it.
  7. - The yogurt has fermented after 5 to 6 hours.
  8. For greek yogurt
  9. - Take a bowl, place a strainer over it and spread a cotton cloth over it.
  10. - Add the yogurt to it, close it and keep it aside for 30 to 45 minutes.
  11. - The greek yogurt is ready after 45 minutes.
  12. For flavored greek yogurt
  13. - Add a teaspoon of frozen mango pulp to it and mix well. The mango yogurt is ready to be served,
  14. - Add some chopped black berry along with a teaspoon of honey to it and mix well. The black berry yogurt is ready to be served.
  15. - Add some frozen pineapple to it and mix well. The pineapple yogurt is ready to be served.
  16. - Add 1 to 2 teaspoon of mix fruit jam to it and mix well. The mized fruit jam flavored is ready to be served.
  17. Serving
  18. - Store it in a container in the refrigerator and consume for 8 to 10 days.
