Sweet mango Khandvi is a fusion of the traditional recipe of Khandvi and mango. It can be stored for a longer period of time and it can be eaten cold with cold mango milk which is delicious to eat.

Here is a step by step easy recipe with pictures to make mango Khandvi which is perfect to eat as a scrumptious sweet. It is filled with mouth-watering filing which has coconut, cardamom and much more.

Direction :

Getting Ready :

Add a ¼ cup of mango pulp to a ½ cup of chickpea flour.

Grind it along with 1.25 cups of water to dissolve its lumps.

Add the paste in a pan and cook while continuously stirring it on medium flame.

Add 3 tsp of sugar to it and cook while stirring it furiously. Stir and cook until it starts boiling.

Cook it for more than 10 minutes and after that, spread batter thinly on the bottom of plates.

Cover the remaining batter until it reaches to its thicker consistency. Keep the plates aside for 10 minutes to set.

After setting it, chop it into pieces of 1.5 to 2 inches.

Separate the pieces using a knife and roll to fold them.

Take 2 to 3 tbsp of mango pulp, add 2 tbsp of condensed milk and some sugar to it.

Add 2 tbsp of milk to it for rectifying its consistency.

Serving

Spread some mango milk over them and garnish it with some finely chopped pistachios.

The mango Khandvi is ready to be served.

How to make coconut mango khandvi

Cook the mixture as per the given above recipe.

Spread the mixture on the plates and spread desiccated coconut over them along with cardamom, sugar powder. Set and roll the Khandvis likewise.

Spread the mango milk, chopped pistachios and serve it.

The coconut mango Khandvi is ready to be served.

Suggestions

You can use homemade cream (Malai) instead of condensed milk.

  • Pistachios (finely chopped) - 7 to 8
  • Cardamom powder - ½ tsp
  • Milk - 2 tbsp
Instructions
  1. - Take a ½ cup of chickpea flour, add a ¼ cup of mango pulp to it.
  2. - Grind it along with a 1.25 cups of water to dissolve its lumps.
  3. - Add the paste in a pan and cook while continuously stirring it on medium flame.
  4. - Add 3 teaspoons of sugar to it and cook while stirring it furiously.
  5. - Stir and cook until it starts boiling.
  6. - After boiling it, cook it for more than 10 minutes.
  7. - Take some plate and spread the batter on them thinly using a flat spatula.
  8. - Cover the remaining batter until it reaches to its thicker consistency.
  9. - Keep the plates aside for 10 minutes to set it.
  10. - After it has set, chop it into pieces of 1.5 to 2 inches.
  11. - Separate it using a knife and roll to fold it.
  12. - Take 2 to 3 tablespoons of mango pulp, add 2 tablespoons of condensed milk and some sugar to it.
