    Indulge in the amazing taste of Crispy Layered Warqi Paratha. This paratha greased with layers of ghee tastes amazing when served steaming hot. You can have it with curd,aloo tamatar sabzi, Matar aloo sabzi, matar paneer sabzi.You can serve it with any favorite sabzi.

    Here is a step by step recipe with pictures to make Sumptuous Warqi Paratha. You can make it for a party or any special occasion. I am sure everyone will enjoy this homemade delight. Just make it and crush with palm before you serve and enjoy taste in every layer.

    Making :

    Take 1 cup Refined flour,1 cup wheat flour.Add 1/2 tsp salt to it,add 1/2 tsp carom seeds.Add 2 tsp ghee,Mix all ingredients well. Add water in small portions and knead a soft dough. Cover and keep the dough aside for 20 to 25 minutes to set.

    warki paranthaAfter 20 minutes, grease your hands with some ghee and squash the dough.Break lumps from the dough. Make it round, then give a peda like shape. Coat it with dry flour. Roll it out thin 10 to 12 inch in diameter. Spread ghee over it on all sides. Fold it in 3 parts with one side overlapping other. Then again spread ghee and fold the sheet into 3 parts. Then coat with dry flour.

    warki paranthaRoll out the paratha thinly, whenever it sticks to the rolling board coat with dry flour.Remove extra flour.

    warki paranthaRoll out thin sheet evenly. Again put ghee over it and spread on all sides. Fold it again in 3 parts. Make a square sheet. Roll out thin paratha.

    warki paranthaPut a tawa to heat. Turn on flame. Put a little ghee on it.Spread evenly and grease the tawa. Put the paratha to roast.When the upper layer of paratha is roasted, flip it . Roast the other side as well till brown spots appear.

    warki paranthaPut a little ghee on the top spread ghee on all sides.Flip the paratha,Put ghee on other side as well and spread.Roast the paratha well. Keep flame medium. When brown spots appear, the paratha is roasted. Lift and place the paratha in a plate. Prepare all parathas likewise. 6 parathas can be made with this quantity of dough.

    Warqi paratha has layers in it. When you serve it just crush the paratha once. You can serve these paratha with curd,aloo tamatar sabzi, Matar aloo sabzi, matar paneer sabzi.You can serve it with any favorite sabzi.

    • You can make the parathas solely with refined flour or wheat flour.
