Paneer bhurji is one such recipe which is equally liked by like the other delicacies prepared with paneer. Paneer bhurji is one of the most relished and devoured North Indian prepared with crumbled cottage cheese, some veggies and few spices. Adding vegetables gives a new dimension to this scrambled paneer sabzi.

    It is a the easiest and most flavorful paneer bhurji recipe to prepare at home. It makes a perfect breakfast or side accompaniment in our meals. Putting it together is really easy. So, here we have simple and easy recipe with step by step instructions and detailed method of preparation.

    Making:

    Heat a pan with oil on flame. When the oil gets heated, add cumin seeds and reduce the flame to low. After the seeds start crackling, add green chilly, ginger, coriander powder, turmeric powder and green peas to the pan and mix thoroughly. Cover and cook the peas for 2 minutes on low flame. Stir in-between.

    paneer bhurjiLater, the peas will become soft. Then add capsicum, tomato, red chilly powder and salt to the green peas and mix everything really well. Cover and cook the veggies for 2 minutes on medium-low flame. Stir after a minute.

    paneer bhurjiAfter 2 minutes, veggies will get tender. If not then cook the veggies for a minute more. Now add paneer and green coriander in the pan and mix properly.

    Ingredients
    • Paneer – 250 grams
    • Green peas – ½ cup
    • Capsicum – ½ cup (chopped)
    • Tomatoes – 2 (½ cup) (finely chopped)
    • Refined oil – 1 to 2 tbsp
    • Green coriander – 2 to 3 tbsp (finely chopped)
    • Turmeric powder – less than ¼ tsp
    • Red chilly powder – less than ¼ tsp
    • Coriander powder – 1 tsp
    • Salt – ¾ tsp or to taste
    • Ginger baton – ½ inch (grated)
    • Cumin seeds – ¼ tsp
    • Green chilly – 1 (finely chopped)
    Instructions
