You might have eaten variety of sumptuous Pizza it is time you try Moonglet Pizza. You can try this innovative dish and bring a delight to your family members. You can make this yummy street food right at your home. All it requires is moong dal, spices and a bowl full of your favorite veggies.

Here is an easy recipe with step by step pictures to make Yummy Moonglet Pizza. You can cut and serve them.You can have it with green coriander chutney,tomato sauce, or you can served it with any chutney of your choice. I am sure everyone will relish eating this Moonglet.

Direction :

Getting ready :

Soak 1 cup moong dal for 2 hours.Wash it well.

Making :

Put soaked moong dal in the mixer jar,3 green chili and 1/2 inch big ginger piece,1 tsp salt or to taste and coarsely grind all. Take out in a bowl.

moonglet pizzaAdd 2 tsp water to it and mix it.Less than 1/4 tsp baking soda.Mix well.

moonglet pizzaHeat a pan.Pour little oil in a pan and spread it.Put the batter, Keep a bit of thickness of 1/2 cm.Keep medium flame.

moonglet pizzaTake chopped veggies of your choice and put it over the uttapam. Pour a little oil over it.Lightly press the veggies.Cover and cook it on medium flame for 6 to 7 minutes.Check it. When roasted from beneath,Flip it.

moonglet pizzaCover and cook the other side of uttapam for 4 minutes. To take it out place a plate over it, flip the pan and take out the uttapam. Prepare all uttapam likewise, then turn off flame.

Serving :

Moonglet Pizza is ready. To make it more spicy, you can add chili flakes,coarsely ground black pepper.Some salt.You can cut and serve them.You can have it with green coriander chutney,tomato sauce, or you can served it with any chutney of your choice. I am sure everyone will relish eating this Vegan Moonglet.

Suggestion :

  • Batter should neither be thick nor too runny.
  • While roasting make sure, flame should be medium and low.
  • You can add veggies according to your taste and preference.
