Getting ready:

Chop cashews and thinly slice the pistachios. Peel and crush cardamom seeds into fine powder.

Take milk in heavy base vessel and let it simmer on low flame. Stir the milk in every 1-2 minutes and let it simmer till it gets thick and half in the quantity. malai kulfi

To it then add chopped cashews and pistachios. Let the milk simmer for more minutes and add powdered sugar to it, followed by cardamom powder and mix well.malai kulfi

Simmer the milk for 2 more minutes and then take it off flame and let it cool down. When the milk cools down completely then store the milk in an airtight container and place it in deep freezer for 6-8 hours to set.

Take out the container from freezer. The malai kulfi is now ready to serve.
