Spinach corn cheese sandwich Recipe

The blend of corn and spinach into a sandwich is a perfect combination for a light hunger. It’s the sweetness of corns and a slight flavour of spinach helps to make it scrumptious. Here is a step by step easy recipe with pictures to make sweet corn spinach sandwich. It’s 2 to 3 slices are enough to end the hunger spank instantly
  • Bread slices - 8
  • Spinach (finely chopped) - 2 cups
  • Sweet corn - ¾ cup
  • Mozzarella cheese (grated) - ½ cup
  • Milk - ¾ cup
  • Butter - 3 to 4 tbsp
  • Refined flour - 1.5 tbsp
  • Salt - ½ tsp
  • Black pepper (freshly, crushed) - ½ tsp
  1. White sauce
  2. - Preheat a pan, add 2 teaspoons of butter in it and melt it.
  3. - Add 1.5 tablespoons of refined flour to it and roast while continuously stirring it.
  4. - Roast until there is a soothing fragrance from it.
  5. - After roasting it, add a ¾ cup of full cream milk to it on low flame.
  6. - Stir and mash it to make sure there aren’t any lumps forming in it.
  7. - The white sauce has cooked after a while.
  8. For the stuffing
  9. - Add 2 teaspoons of butter in a pan on low flame.
  10. - Add a ¾ cup of sweet corn to it and saute for a minute.
  11. - Add 2 cups of finely chopped spinach to it and roast while continuously stirring it for 2 minutes.
  12. - Add a ½ teaspoon of salt, a ½ teaspoon of freshly crushed black pepper to it and stir for a while.
  13. - Add the cooked white sauce to it and cook until it reaches to its thicker consistency.
  14. - After cooking it, pour it in a separate bowl and keep it aside to cool down.
  15. - After cooling it, add the grated mozzarella cheese over it and mix well.
  16. - The stuffing is ready.
  17. For the sandwich
  18. - Take a bread slice, spread the stuffing over it and cover with another bread slice.
  19. - Assemble rest of the sandwiches likewise.
  20. - Preheat a griddle, spread the butter over it on the flame from low to medium.
  21. - Spread some butter on the sandwich and cook it for 2 minutes from the bottom.
  22. - After 2 minutes, flip it and cook it from another side until it becomes brown.
  23. - After cooking it for some more time, remove it from the pan.
  24. - The sandwich has cooked and it is ready to be served.
  25. For the grilled sandwich
  26. - Assemble two sandwiches likewise and place them in a griller and grill for 2 minutes.
  27. - After 2 minutes, the grilled sandwich has cooked and it is ready to be served.
