  • Sesame seeds – 1 cup (150 grams)
  • Milk powder – 1 cup (130 grams)
  • Powdered sugar – 1 cup (180 grams)
  • Milk – ½ cup
  • Unsalted butter – 4 tbsp (1/4 cup) (60 grams)
  • Cashews – 15-20
  • Pistachios – 1 tbsp
  • Green cardamom – 7-8
  1. Chop cashew, pistachio and make green cardamom powder.
  2. Roast sesame seeds and prepare powder of half its quantity.
  3. Heat a pan with butter and add milk and milk powder. Roast to make mawa.
  4. Add powdered sugar, roasted sesame powder, roasted sesame seeds, chopped cashews, sliced pistachios and green cardamom powder into it. Mix everything really well.
  5. Barfi mixture is now ready. Spread it to the greased plate.
  6. Once the barfi mixture is completely set, cut it into the desired size pieces and transfer barfi pieces to a serving plate. Sesame seeds milk powder barfi is now ready to serve.
