Making:

Wash the basmati rice thoroughly with water and soak it for ½ an hour. Drain out the excess water from it. Place the soaked rice in pressure cooker along with 2.5 cups of water, put on the lid and cook the rice until the cooker releases a whistle.   • Basmati rice – 1 cup (soaked for 30 minutes)
  • Chana lentils – ½ cup (soaked for 6-7 hours)
  • Ghee/refined oil – 3-4 tbsp
  • Green coriander – 2-3 tbsp (finely chopped)

  1. Pour ghee into a microwave safe bowl. Place it inside the microwave and cook it for 1 minute.

Thoroughly wash and chop the tomatoes and capsicum. Then peel the green peas and keep it in a bowl.

Rinse the potatoes and pressure cook them. Then peel and chop the boiled potatoes in small chunks.
