Directions
Getting ready:
1. Sieve refined flour.
Making:
2. Add salt, sugar and instant dry active yeast into the sieved flour.
3. Now pour little oil to it and mix everything well.
4. With help of lukewarm milk knead soft dough. If required, then add less than 1/2 cup of water to knead the dough.
5. Knead the dough for 5-6 minutes or till smooth and soft. Knead till gluten appears and dough stops sticking to hands.
6. Apply some oil on the dough. Cover and keep it aside for 2-3 hours in warm place to rest.
7. After this, knead the dough again to press it down. Then divide the dough into 8 equal lumps.
8. Roll these dough lumps into smooth and round dough balls and place them on a greased baking dish. Keep some distance between the dough balls.
9. Cover again and keep them aside for 1/2 hour. Bake them later.
10. Preheat an oven to 200 degree centigrade and place the tray inside the oven. Bake the pavs at 200 degree centigrade for 10 minutes. Place it on middle rack.
11. Pavs are now baked through, take out the tray and glaze the pavs with some butter to get a smooth and soft surface. Pavs are ready to serve.
Serving:
12. Serve this soft and delicious pav bread with bhaji, or make vada pav. Infact these taste good with butter and jam as well.

- Maida (all purpose flour) - 250 grams (2.5 cup)
- Ghee or Oil - 2 tbsp
- Salt - ½ tsp
- Sugar - 2 tsp
- Milk - ½ cup
- Dry Yeast - 2 tsp
