    Besan Ladoos are immensely tasty and mouth-watering sweet. Who doesn’t relish eating besan ladoos? In fact these ladoos are my favorite too. Traditionally, for this recipe the gram flour is roasted in ghee till it turns fragrant and little dark in color. The texture of ladoos prepared with this method are little grainy. Making ladoos with this method is little time consuming and too much hand work is required for stirring the gram flour.

    But we can also make these sumptuous ladoos in microwave. Besan ladoos can be prepared instantly and easily in microwave without any intense labour. Roasting gram flour in wok or pan makes one tired as gram flour has to be stirred constantly, but gram flour in microwave can be roasted very conveniently in microwave. So, we are making besan ladoo in microwave. Here are the easy to follow instructions for this recipe. Enjoy!

    Directions

    Getting ready:

    1. Strain chickpea flour through a sieve in a microwave friendly bowl and add ghee to it. Mix well with the help of a spoon.

    2. Place the bowl inside the microwave. Roast the chickpea flour for 2 minutes on high temperature. After this take out the bowl and stir the mixture really well.

    4. Put the bowl again back into the microwave and roast it for 2 more minutes. After 2 minutes take the bowl out and stir the mixture nicely.

    5. Roast the chickpea flour third time for about 1 minute. Take out the bowl and stir the mixture really well using a spoon. Microwave for 1 more minutes and then take out the bowl. The gram flour is roasted well now and turned little brown in color, stir it really well.

    6. Let gram flour cool down and then add powered sugar to it. Mix well and followed with cardamom powder and chopped dry fruits.

    7. Lift little amount of mixture and bind giving it a round shape. Place on the plate and likewise repeat the process until the entire mixture is utilized. Let the ladoos cool down completely. Mouth drooling and super yummy chickpea ladoos are ready

    • If you don’t find thick granule chickpea flour then add half cup of semolina to the fine flour.
    • Besan ladoos can also be prepared without microwave on gas.
