    Getting ready:

    Clean rice and rinse them thoroughly. Soak the rice for half an hour and the drain the excess water.

    In a microwave safe bowl, add soaked rice and 2 cups of water along with ghee. Stir it well.

    Cover the bowl properly with the lid. Place the rice bowl in the microwave for 10 minutes on highest temperature and check later.

    Take out the bowl from microwave. Rice has become soft and double its size. Now keep it aside for 15 minutes as standing time.

    The rice is now cooked perfectly. Transfer it to a plate. Serve this microwave cooked steaming hot rice with any dal, sabzi or curry of your choice and relish eating.
