Crushed Peanut Chikki | मूंगफली की सॉफ्ट चिक्की । शेंगदाणा चिक्की | Soft Peanut Chikki with Jaggery

 

Peanut chikkis are the most popular chikkis enjoyed during winters. Today, we will prepare crushed peanut chikki so that you can enjoy the delicious and crunchy chikki taste at home. The preparation requires similar ingredients as whole peanut chikki. So, let’s get straight to the recipe.

Follow the steps below along with images and prepare tasty and crunchy crushed peanut chikki.

Directions

1. Take 1 cup of roasted peanuts and grind them coarsely.

2. Add 1 cup crushed jaggery and 1 tsp of ghee to the Kadai.

3. Melt jaggery over medium flame and check the syrup once you see foam in the syrup.

4. Add a few drops of syrup to a bowl of water.

5. After cooling down, if the syrup drops turn crunchy, then the syrup is ready.

6. Add crushed peanut to the jaggery syrup and mix well.

7. Grease a board with ghee and spread the mixture on it.

8. Grease a rolling pin and roll the mixture into a square of 1/4 cm of thickness.

9. Mark cuts on the chikki mixture once it cools slightly.

10. Leave the mixture for 30 minutes to set.

11. Separate the pieces and take them out on a plate after 30 minutes.

12. Crushed peanut chikkis are ready to be served.

  • Jaggery - 1 cup (200 grams)
  • Desi Ghee - 1 tsp
Instructions
  1. Take 1 cup of roasted peanuts and grind them coarsely.

  3. Melt jaggery over medium flame and check the syrup once you see foam in the syrup.
