Til Gur Besan Laddu is a winter special sweet recipe. The preparation requires no use of sugar, mawa, or milk powder, and laddus will turn out delicious. Til Gur laddus are must-have during winter, they are not only delicious but healthy too.
Follow the directions below, along with the images to prepare delicious and healthy Til Gur Besan Laddu.
Directions:
1. Dry roast 1 cup sesame seeds over medium-high heat till the color changes lightly.
2. Heat 6 tbsp of ghee in the Kadai.
3. Roast 1 cup besan over low-medium heat till it becomes brown and aromatic.
4. Add 1 cup dashed jaggery and 2 tbsp of water to the Kadai.
5. Melt the jaggery over medium-high heat.
6. Pour a few drops of syrup in a bowl of water to check the syrup.
7. Drops of syrup should turn solid or crispy to indicate that the syrup is ready.
8. Pour jaggery syrup into the besan and mix well.
9. Add sesame seeds (save some) to the besan-jaggery mixture and mix well.
10. Blend the mixture into a powder once hard and crispy.
11. Add saved sesame seed and 6-7 coarsely crushed cardamom to the powder and mix well.
12. Take out a little mixture and bind the ladoos as you please.
