During winters, you can see a lot of leafy greens available in grocery stores. The dish for today is Palak Saag Paneer. Make your leafy greens extraordinarily delicious with Maggi Masala-ae-Magic. We will prepare palak saag paneer with palak, bathua, and methi.
Follow the directions below along with images and prepare delicious and nutritious palak saag paneer.
Directions:
1. Wash thoroughly and discard the stalk from palak, bathua, and methi.
2. Chop the greens and steam them in 1 cup water for 7-8 minutes.
3. Cut 2-tomatoes, 4-green chilies, and grated 1-inch ginger.
4. Heat 2 tsp of ghee in the pan.
5. Add 1/2 tsp cumin seeds, 4-red chilies, 4-chopped & 3-whole green chilies, and grated ginger to the hot oil and roast lightly.
6. Add chopped tomatoes, 1 tsp of salt to the pan, and cook covered for 2 minutes.
7. Mash the tomatoes and cook them for another 2 minutes.
8. Blend the steamed leafy greens into a little coarse mixture.
9. Add ground greens, 1/2 cup water to the pan and mix well.
10. Prepare a lump-free mixture of 1 tbsp of cornflour and add it to the saag.
11. Cook the saag for 10-12 minutes over low-medium heat.
12. Add paneer cubes to the saag after 10 minutes and cook the sabzi for 3-4 minutes.
13. Add 1-sachet of Maggi Masala Ae Magic and cook the saag for another 2 minutes.
14. Transfer the sabzi to the serving bowl and add butter at the top.
