Veg Suji Rolls Recipe

सूजी से बना नाश्ता – सूजी वेज रॉल्स – सिर्फ 1 छोटी चम्मच तेल । Semolina Veg Rolls using 1 tsp oil

 

If you are tired of your regular boring breakfast, then try something healthy and delicious with me. The preparation of Veg Suji Rolls requires suji (Semolina) dough and vegetable stuffing. Rolls are steamed and flavored with Tadka. Altogether, make a perfectly healthy and delicious breakfast

Follow the directions below along with the images to prepare Veg Suji Rolls.

Direction:

1. Take 1 cup of semolina, add ½ cup of curd, ½ tsp of salt, ⅛ tsp of baking soda, mix and prepare a soft dough.

2. Apply a little oil to your hand and knead the dough. Cover and leave the dough for 10 minutes.

3. Divide the dough into 2-parts and roll them into spheres.

4. Take ½ cup of finely chopped capsicum, ½ cup of grated cauliflower, ¼ cup of grated carrot in a bowl.

5. Add ½ tsp of ginger paste, 1-finely chopped green chili, ¼ tsp of crushed black pepper, ¼ tsp of salt, 1 to 2 tbsp of coriander leaves, and mix well.

6. Take a sphere and roll it into a rectangular sheet.

7. Spread 1 tsp of pizza sauce and vegetable filling over the dough sheet.

8. Roll and seal the corners of the sheet.

9. Pour 2 cups of water into a cooking vessel and bring it to a boil.

10. Put the rolls in a greased strainer and place them over the cooking vessel.

11. Steam the rolls and take them out after 15 minutes.

12. Once the rolls cool down, cut them into pieces.

13. Heat 2 tsp of oil in a pan and roast ¼ tsp of mustard seeds, ½ tsp of sesame, 8-10 curry leaves briefly.

14. Add tadka to the prepared rolls.

15. Veg suji rolls are ready to be served.

  • Semolina - 1 cup (150 grams)
  • Curd- ½ cup
  • Salt- ½ tsp
  • Baking Powder - ⅛ tsp
  • Chopped vegetables
  • Capsicum - ½ cup, chopped
  • Cauliflower - ½ cup, chopped
  • Carrot - ¼ cup, chopped
  • Ginger Paste - ½ tsp
  • Green Chilli - 1 chopped
  • Black pepper - ¼ tsp
  • Salt - ¼ tsp
  • Green Coriander - 1-2 tbsp
  • Oil - 2 tsp
  • Black Mustard - ¼ tsp
  • White sesame - ½ tsp
  • Curry Patta - 10-12
