Semiya upma, kheer, and halwas are all old, try something new like Semiya Dosa. It is an instant dosa recipe prepared using roasted vermicelli (Semiya), semolina(sooji), and some spices. Semiya Dosa is ideal for a healthy breakfast since it gets ready in no time.
Follow the directions below along with images and prepare a deliciously healthy breakfast for your family.
Directions:
1. Soak ½ cup of roasted Semiya in ½ cup of hot water for 10 minutes.
2. Mix ½ cup curd, 1 tsp grated ginger, 2-chopped green chilies, ½ tsp of salt, 10-12 curry leaves, 1 tbsp chopped green coriander in ½ cup sooji.
3. Pour ¼ cup of water into the mixture and keep aside 10 minutes.
4. Add semiya to the mixture after 10 minutes and prepare a flowing consistency batter.
5. Mix ½ tsp of Eno fruit salt in the mixture.
6. Heat a little oil in a non-stick pan.
7. Pour a ladleful of the mixture into the pan and spread it evenly over low-medium heat.
8. Drizzle oil over and around the cheela and cook covered for 3 minutes.
9. Flip the cheela once the base turns brown and again cook covered until brown.
10. After 2 minutes, transfer the cheela to serving and prepare other similarly.
