    Getting ready:

    Rinse and pat dry the tomatoes and ginger. Chop them in rough chunks and Place them in a mixer jar. Prepare a smooth paste of them. Transfer it to a big bowl.

    Take corn flour in a bowl and add water in small portions. Stir to dissolve the lumps completely. Prepare a smooth batter of it.

    Heat a pan or wok. Put the tomato-ginger paste into it along with ½ or ¼ cup of water. Put the lid on and let it cook until there is slight change in colour of tomato puree. It can take 7-8 minutes.

    After 7-8 minutes, tomato puree is cooked aptly. Take it off the flame and keep it aside. Allow it to cool down completely then sieve.

    Meanwhile, heat a pan with 1-2 tbsp of butter. Let it melt completely then add chopped broccoli and carrot into it. Keep stirring the veggies continuously until they turn soft. Cover the pan and let the veggies simmer.

    Now the tomato puree has cooled down completely. Strain it through a sieve in a bowl. Transfer it back to the vessel and place it back on the flame.

    Add the fried veggies into the tomato soup along with 3 cups of water. Then add corn flour slurry, salt, black salt and black pepper powder into it. Cover and let it simmer for 5-6 minutes. Tomato soup is simmering now. Put the flame on medium and cook it for 4-5 more minutes. Check later. Tomato soup has thickened now.

    Transfer the soup in a serving bowl. Tomato soup is ready to serve. Add some chopped green coriander and mix with the spoon. Garnish this tantalizing and devouring tomato soup with some cream on top and serve it steaming hot as it is.
