Ladi Pav is an Indian bun served with Bhaji, but you can also enjoy it as a sandwich. No worries, even if you don’t have an oven because today we are going to bake it in Kadai. Follow the steps below, along with the images to prepare the Ladi pav.
Directions:
1. Mix 1.5 tsp instant active yeast with 1.5 tsp sugar and 2-3 tbsp milk. Cover and rest for 6-7 minutes.
2. Take 1.5 cups of maida and mix ⅓ tsp of salt in it.
3. Add the activated yeast to the maida, use lukewarm milk, and knead a soft dough.
4. Add 1.5 tbsp of olive oil and knead the dough for 8-10 minutes.
5. Apply a little oil over the dough and keep it in a warm place.
6. After an hour, apply dry maida on your hand and punch the dough a little.
7. Transfer the dough to a board and roll it into a log.
8. Cut the dough into halves and further divide each half into 3.
9. Grease a container with a little oil.
10. Fold all the dough pieces into balls and keep them in the greased tray.
11. Cover the dough in the tray with a cloth for 40 minutes.
12. Brush cream over the pav after 40 minutes.
13. Add 2 cups of salt and place a stand inside the Kadai. Preheat the Kadai for 10 minutes over high heat.
14. Keep the pav tray in the Kadai and bake over medium-high heat. (Check after 20 minutes)
15. Take the tray out after 30 minutes and brush butter over the pav.
16. Cover the pav with a little wet cloth for 10 minutes.
17. Run a knife along the edges and ease out the pav from the container.
18. Ladi Pav is ready to be served.

- Instant Active Yeast - 1.5 tsp
