Baked Spring Rolls Recipe

बेक्ड नूडल्स स्प्रिंग रोल्स । Baked Spring Rolls with Homemade Sheets -Veg spring rolls Indian style

 

We always have prepared spring rolls by frying them. Today we are going to bake spring rolls instead of frying them. Noodle spring rolls are always the best party starters. Moreover, you can enjoy it as a snack with a cup of tea, coffee, or cold drinks.

Follow the steps below to prepare spring rolls with less oil.

Directions:

1. Take 1 cup of maida, add ¼ tsp of salt, 1 tbsp of oil, and mix well.

2. Pour water gradually and knead a soft dough. Cover and rest the dough for 20 minutes.

3. Heat 1 tsp of oil and sauté 1 tsp of grated ginger and 2-finely chopped green chilies briefly.

4. Add ½ cup of julienned carrot, ½ tsp of salt to the pan and sauté till slightly firm.

5. Add ½ cup green capsicum, ½ cup yellow capsicum, ½ tsp crushed black pepper, 1/2 tsp red chili powder, ½ tsp soya sauce, ½ tsp vinegar, 1 tsp tomato sauce, and sauté briefly.

6. Mix boiled noodles with sauté stuffing, transfer it to a bowl and allow it to cool.

7. Knead the dough after 20 minutes and divide it into portions.

8. Roll the dough portions into a small roti of slight thickness.

9. Pick a rolled roti, brush oil, and sprinkle dry maida over it.

 

10. Place another rolled sheet over this sheet, again brush oil, sprinkle dry maida, and place another sheet over it.

 

11. Prepare a 3-layered sheet of dough, dust it with dry maida, and roll it into a sheet of 6-7 inch diameter.

12. Place the dough sheet in a lightly hot Tawa and roast it from both sides over low heat till its color changes.

13. Separate all three wrappers.

14. Lay a wrapper, put some stuffing at the corner of the wrapper, and cover it by making a fold from the spared end.

15. Apply slurry at the top-most corners and roll the covered stuffing towards the top and seal it well at the end.

16. Keep all the prepared rolls on the baking tray and brush cream over them, and preheat the oven at 200° centigrade.

17. Bake the roll at 200° centigrade for 10 minutes.

18. Turn the rolls upside down after 10 minutes and bake till brown.

19. When they are cool, cut, and serve them with any dip of your choice.

20. Noodle spring rolls are ready to be served.
