Apple Burfi Recipe

एपल बर्फी, बिना मावा मिल्क पाउडर या चाशनी बनाये । Apple Coconut Burfi for Navratri | Vrat ka khana

 

Apply burfi is one easy recipe you can try at home when craving sweets. It is prepared with grated apples and some dry fruits. This delicious burfi will leave you wanting more.

Follow the directions to prepare this delicious apple burfi.

Directions:

1. Take 3 medium-size apples and peel their cover.

2. Grate the apples and discard the core.

3. Heat 1 tbsp of ghee in a pan.

4. When ghee is hot, add grated apples to it and saute them over medium flame.

5. Add 300 grams of sugar to the apples after 5 minutes and cook till the sugar dissolves completely.

6. Ground more than 1/2 cup of peanuts and add it to the apple mixture after the sugar dissolves.

 

 

7. Mix 100 grams of desiccated coconuts into the mixture and cook it over the low-medium flame till attains the curdling consistency.

8. Add 2 tbsp of almond flakes, 1 tsp of coarsely crushed cardamom to the mixture, and mix well.

9. Spread the mixture on the greased burfi tray, garnish with almond flakes and leave the mixture for 2 hours to set.

10. Heat the burfi tray for 10-12 seconds and cut the burfi into desired pieces. Apple’s burfi is ready to be served.

  • Peanut - ½ cup (100 grams)
  • Desiccated Coconut - 1 cup (100grams)
  • Almond Flakes - 2 tbsp
  • Cardamom - 1 tsp, 12 coarsely ground
