Guava Halwa Recipe | अमरूद का हलवा बनाने की एकदम आसान विधि

 

Guava pudding is a recipe of pudding which is made up of natural ingredients and does not contain any added preservatives in it. Pudding is a dessert which is made up of fruit is very rare. It has a unique taste and has a texture which is mouth-melting. 

Here is a step by step recipe of guava pudding along with pictures to make it easier. This recipe will give you an overview to make this pudding easily. 

Direction:

Getting Ready:

Boil ½ litre of full cream milk in a broader pan. 

Remove the stalks and chop 4 medium-sized guavas. 

Add it in a pressure cooker along with an inch of beetroot. 

Boil until the first whistle blows.

Stir boiling milk in the intervals. 

Switch off the flame after the first whistle and wait after its pressure releases.

The pressure has released so open the lid of the cooker.

Pour out the boiled guavas and keep them aside to cool down.

Stir the milk until it reaches to its thicker consistency.

Grind the cooled guavas in a grinder for the paste. 

Switch off the flame because the Mawa has cooked and it has reached to its thicker consistency.

Filter the ground paste using a strainer to remove its seeds.

After filtering it, preheat a pan and add clarified butter to it.

Roast 1 to 2 tbsp of cashews and almonds until they appear brown. 

Stir and roast it in the intervals. 

Add cooked Mawa in the pudding and roast by continuously stirring it.

Roast the pudding until it appears thicker in its consistency.

Add a cup of sugar to it and cook until it dissolves in it. 

The sugar has dissolved in the pudding and it has reached to its thicker consistency.

The pudding has cooked, garnish it with finely chopped dry fruits and serve it. 

Suggestions

  • You can use 125 gms of readymade Mawa or 100 gms of milk powder instead of 1 litre of milk.
  • You can increase or decrease the number of dry fruits according to your taste.
  • You can use food colour instead of beetroot.

Ingredients
  • Guava - 4 (600 grams)
  • Sugar - 1 cup (225 grams)
  • Ghee - ¼ cup
  • Cashew (chopped) - 2 to 3 tbsp
  • Almond (chopped) - 2 to 3 tbsp
  • Milk (full cream) - ½ litre
  • Cardamom powder - ½ tsp
  • Beetroot - 1 inch
Instructions
  1. - Take a broader pan boil ½ litre of full cream milk.
  2. - Take 4 medium sized Guava, remove its stalk and chopped into larger sized pieces.
  3. - After chopping, add it in the pressure cooker to boil along with an inch of beetroot piece.
  4. - Boil until the first whistle blows and stir the boiling milk in intervals.
  5. - Switch off the flame after the first whistle blows and wait after its pressure releases.
  6. - The pressure has released so open the lid of the cooker.
  7. - Pour out the boiled guavas and keep them aside to cool down.
  8. - Stir the milk until it reaches to its thicker consistency.
  9. - The boiled guavas are cool down, grind them to make a paste in a grinder.
  10. - Switch off the flame because the mawa has cooked and it has reached to its thicker consistency.
  11. - Filter the ground paste using a strainer to remove its seeds.
  12. - After filtering it, preheat a pan and add clarified butter to it.
  13. - Add 1 to 2 tablespoons of chopped Almonds and Cashews and roast them until they appear brown.
  14. - After roasting them, add the paste to it and rost until it appears thick.
  15. - Stir and roast it in the intervals and make sure that the pudding does not touch the bottom of the wok.
  16. - Add the cooked mawa in the pudding and roast by continuously stirring it.
  17. - Roast the pudding until it appears thicker in its consistency.
  18. - The pudding has reached to its thicker consistency.
  19. - Add 1 cup sugar to it, and cook until it dissolves in it.
  20. - Stir and cook to dissolve the sugar.
  21. - The sugar has dissolved in the pudding and it has reached to its thicker consistency.
  22. - The pudding has cooked, garnish it with finely chopped dry fruits and serve it.
