Here is a step by step easy recipe with pictures to make sandwich toast using the Idli batter. It is the perfect blend of south Indian and north Indian flavours. You can make it instantly without worrying about the availability of any ingredient.

Getting Ready:

Sandwich in the regular sandwich maker

Preheat the regular sandwich maker and grease it moulds using the oil.

Add less than ½ teaspoon of salt to the 2 cups of Idli batter and stir it well.

Add the batter in the moulds and spread it evenly.

Add the stuffing of potato and spinach over it.

Cover the stuffing with the batter and cook it on low flame.

Spread some batter over it and cook while covering it for 3-4 minutes.

Spread some oil over it and cook from another side for 3-4 minutes.

It has cooked because it appears brown from the sides.

Remove it from the pan and it took 10 minutes to be cooked.

Sandwich in another sandwich maker

Preheat another sandwich maker and grease it with oil. Preheat and grease another side of it in the same manner.

Add the batter in its mould on the low flame.

Add the cooked curry in it as the stuffing.

Cover it by spreading the batter properly and spread it on the corner of Idli maker.

Cook it for 3-4 minutes on the low-medium flame.

Apply some oil over it after 4 minutes.

Close its lid and cook it from another side for 4 to 5 minutes on the low-medium flame.

It has become crispy and brown from both sides. It has cooked.

The stuffed Toasts made up of Idli batter is ready to be served.
