    With the winter season comes a time to indulge in Yummy and tempting food. Make mouth drooling Makka Masala Aloo Poori . You can also serve it steaming hot or have it as a snack during evening. You can also pack it in your kid’s lunch box , I am sure you will relish every bite of it.

    Here is a step by step recipe with pictures to make sumptuous Makka Masala Aloo Poori. Serve it with your favorite chutney or dip. Enjoy this unique twist of taste and flavors right on your platter this winter season.

    Direction :

    Making :

    Take 1 cup corn flour in a mixing bowl add 1 cup wheat flour. Take 3 boiled potatoes grate in the same bowl.

    masala makka pooriAdd 1 tsp salt,1/4 tsp red chili powder, Add 1/2 tsp carom seeds,1/2 tsp cumin seeds,2 green chili de seeded and finely chopped, 3 to 4 tbsp finely chopped green coriander,2 tsp oil to it. Mix all ingredients well.

    masala makka pooriAdd water in small portions and knead stiff dough like that of poori.1 tbsp more than 1 cup water is used for it. Cover and keep the dough aside for 20 to 25 minutes to set.

    masala makka pooriGrease hands with oil, Smoothen the dough.Break the dough and make small dough balls from it.Meanwhile put the oil to heat in a wok.

    masala makka pooriFor rolling out the poori, Pick up a dough ball, press, roll out rightly , keep thick. Meanwhile check the oil.

    masala makka pooriOnce the oil is rightly hot, put the pooris to fry. As the poori comes up,press it with the laddle.Flip the poori as it puffs up. Keep flame medium. Flip and fry until golden brown.

    masala makka pooriOnce fried, hold the poori on the edge of wok, then keep in a plate. Fry all pooris likewise. 14 pooris can be made with this quantity of dough.

    Steaming hot and crusty Aloo Masala Poori can be served with, chutney, pickle or your favorite sabzi.

    Suggestion :

    • Adjust the quantity of chili as desired.
    • Add oil to the dough to make the poori crisp.
    • Grease hands with oil so that the dough doesn’t stick to your palm.
    • You can add finely chopped fenugreek or bathua instead of green coriander.
    • Do not knead the dough too soft or too stiff.
    • Grease the rolling board with oil to prevent sticking.
    • Fry the poori in sufficiently hot oil.

    Ingredients
