    Getting Ready :

    Take 2 cups moong dal in a pan and roast it for 2 minutes to remove moisture.Place the dal in a platter.Let it cool.

    Take 2 tbsp coriander seeds,5 to 6 red chilies. 1 tsp carom seed.Add 1/2 pinch asafoetida. Roast the spices for a minute.Once roasted then turn off flame, let them cool off.

    moong dal pre mixTo grind dal, put dal in the jar, add 2 tsp salt,add 1/2 tsp tatri, 1/4 tsp baking soda and coarsely grind it. Now add spices,grind again. Do not open lid instantly.

    moong dal pre mixTake out the moong dal masala premix, add water then mix well. Keep it aside for 15 minutes till dal puffs up,If the consistency seems dense,then add small portion of water.
