    Getting Ready:

    Take 4 boiled potatoes,peel them. Grate them, grate paneer too.To make poppy seed paste soaked 1/4 cup poppy seeds wash and soak in water for an hour,and grinded finely.

    Add spices to the mix, add 1/2 tsp salt, 2 finely chopped green chili,a little green coriander, add 1/4 cup cornflour too. Mix all. Add chopped cashews and raisins. Mix well.

    aloo paneer kofta curryLift some dough, give a round shape,flatten it, make a hollow. Add 1 or 2 cashew pieces and raisins,close it and give it a round shape. Bind well.

Once oil separates add 2 cup water, later add 1/2 cup more water. Add salt, garam masala and green coriander.Cover and cook the gravy for 7 to 8 minutes.

    Suggestion:

    • You can also use araroot instead of cornflour.
    • Oil should be rightly hot to fry the koftas else they might splutter.
    • Make sure you add araroot or conflour in measured quantity.
    • You can make gravy of cashews, melon seeds, raw coconut, tomato, chickpea flour, tomato onion gravy.
    • Add koftas to the gravy, only when you serve them.Do not put too many koftas in oil at once, as the temprature drops and koftas might splutter.
    • If you are making poppy seeds gravy, then make sure you roast it well.

    Ingredients
    • Boiled Potatoes - 4 (300 gms)
    • Paneer - 125 gms
    • Poppy Seeds paste - ¼ cup (30 gms)
    • Paste - Tomato 3 (300 to 350 gms) + 2 Green Chilies
    • Corn Flour - ¼ cup
    • Green Coriander - 2 to 3 tbsp (finely chopped)
    • Cashew nuts - 5 to 6 (finely chopped )
    • Raisins - 15 to 20
    • Ginger Paste - 1 tsp
    • Green Chilies - 1 tsp
    • Cumin seeds - ¼ tsp
    • Turmeric Powder - ½ tsp
    • Coriander Powder - 1 tsp
    • Red chili powder - ½ tsp
    • Garam Masala - ¼ tsp
    • Salt - 1 tsp or to taste
    • Oil - for Kofta and Curry
