Palak Mushroom Sandwich – Spinach & Mushroom Sandwich Recipe

Sanwiches have always been a delight to every person who relishes eating. A different taste of Palak Mushroom Sandwich surely earns the top spot when it comes to become a favorite. Yummy spinach and mushroom sandwich can be servet to kids or can be carried to picnics as well.

Here is an  easy step by step process to make tempting Palak Mushroom Sandwich serve them steaming hot along with tomato sauce or chilly sauce. Enjoy making and eating this quick and easy yet scrumptious sandwich.

Directions

Getting ready:

Pluck the soft spinach leaves and discard the stalk. Wash the leaves twice with water and place them in a colander so that the excess water gets drained out completely. Later, chop them finely with the help of a knife or chopping board and keep them in a bowl.Spinach and mushroom sandwich

Wash the mushrooms thoroughly with water then pat dry them. Later, thinly slice them and keep them in another bowl.spinach and mushroom sandwich

Making:

Heat a pan with 2 tsp of ghee. When the ghee gets heated, add ginger and green chilly to it and saute them for a while. Now add mushrooms in the pan and stir fry them for 2 to 3 minutes so that they become tender.spinach and mushroom sandwich

Then add spinach in the pan followed by salt and black pepper powder. Mix everything thoroughly and cook them by stirring constantly until the moisture gets evaporated completely. As the stuffing turns dry, turn off the flame and let it cool down.spinach and mushroom sandwich

When the stuffing cools down, spread them evenly on two bread slices then top them with some cheese.spinach and mushroom sandwich

Cover each of them with a bread slice. If you have no precaution in eating ghee or butter then spread some ghee on the bread slices before covering the stuffing.spinach and mushroom sandwich

Place the stuffed sandwiches on the preheated electric sandwich maker, put the lid on and roast the sandwiches for 2 minutes.spinach and mushroom sandwich

After 2 minutes, sandwiches will get golden brown from both the sides. Transfer them on a plate, palak mushroom sandwiches are now ready to serve. You can roast the sandwiches on flame as well.spinach and mushroom sandwich
