    Kaju chikki is yet another recipe of chikki which is prepared only with three ingredients i.e. cashews, sugar and ghee. It is very easy to make and tastes super delicious. Serve these cashew chikki to your kids anytime, they will definitely ask for more.

    Getting ready:

    Start making chikki with cutting the cashews in two halves, lengthwise.

    Grease a broad with some ghee.

    To melt the sugar, pour 1 tsp of ghee in a preheat pan. As the ghee melts, add sugar to it. Keep the flame on medium and continue stirring until the sugar melts completely. Make sure you don’t over cook the sugar else it can get bitter.

    Afterward, turn off the flame and add the cashews to melted sugar. Mix them thoroughly.

    Transfer the cashew mixture on the greased board. Evenly apply some ghee on the rolling pin and roll out the chikki little thin. You can use a spatula to give it an even shape.

    Now make cut marks on the rolled chikki and let the chikki cool down a bit.

    Later, separate out the chikki from the board and keep them on a plate.

    Suggestion

    • We used cashews and sugar for making this brittle, but you can also use cashews and jaggery for making this recipe. The method will be same. Just finely crush the jaggery, then add some ghee in the hot pan and mix jaggery into it. Let the jaggery melt completely and mix the cashews. Roll out thinly and the chikki will be ready.
