Getting ready:

Cut the white compound chocolate in small chunks and place them in a microwave safe bowl.

Microwave the butter for 30 seconds to melt.

Now place the bowl inside and microwave the chocolate for 30 seconds. Take out the chocolate after 30 seconds and stir with a spoon. Chocolate has started melting. Microwave the chocolate for 30 seconds more.

Take out the bowl again and stir well. The chocolate has started melting. Keep stirring until the chocolate gets smooth in texture and is melted completely.

The chocolate is still not melted as some chunks are still visible. So, microwave for 10 seconds more. Stir the chocolate again until it melts completely.

Now mix 2 tbsp melted butter to the 2 tbsp cream. Mix it thoroughly in the cream.

Then add this prepared mixture to the melted chocolate and stir thoroughly. To it also add 50 grams of coconut powder. Stir to mix everything really well. Mixture is ready; let us bind ladoos from it.

Take small amount of mixture and bind ladoos. Coat the ladoo with coconut powder and place on a plate. Repeat the process until the whole mixture is utilized.

Suggestions:

  • While melting the chocolate in microwave or in double boiler, make sure it doesn’t burn. Don’t melt the chocolate altogether for longer durations in microwave.
  • Melt the butter separately and mix it to cream. Then add this prepared mixture to the melted chocolate, followed by coconut powder. Stir to mix everything really well. If the consistency is apt then immediately bind the ladoos but if the mixture is a little thin in consistency, then place it in refrigerator for 2 to 4 minutes to set and then bind the ladoos.
