Peanut Rava halwa recipe – Moongphali Sooji ka Halwa
Semolina and peanut halwa is a delicious combination of semolina, peanut, dry fruits, sesame seeds and ghee. We always prepare semolina halwa at home. This time prepare semolina peanut halwa for your guests at get-togethers. They will love it for sure.

Directions
Getting ready:
Take roasted peanuts in a mixer jar along with ¼ cup of water. Churn it to make a fine paste. Keep it aside.
Thinly slice each almond. Place it in a bowl. Also, chop each cashew into 6-7 small pieces. Cut few cashews into 2 pieces. Place them in separate bowl. Peel the green cardamom and crush its seeds into fine powder.
Making:
Place a pan on flame and add half amount of ghee to it. Let the ghee melt. Then add semolina to it. Keep stirring continuously and roast the semolina until it turns golden brown in colour. Keep the flame on medium.
Once the semolina is roasted aptly, turn off the flame. Keep stirring it continuously as the pan is still hot. Now transfer it to a plate.
After that, pour 2 tbsp of ghee into the pan. Let it melt. Then add peanut paste to it. Roast it until there is slight change in colour. Keep stirring continuously and saute it on medium flame.
Ghee is separating from the edges of peanut paste. It is now roasted aptly. Add roasted semolina into it followed by 2 cups of water and sugar. Mix it really well. Let it cook until semolina absorbs all the water and turns fluffy.
Add some sliced almonds, some chopped cashew, raisins and green cardamom powder. Mix everything really well. Now cook the halwa until it gets thick in consistency.
Halwa has got dense in consistency. It is now ready. Now add a tbsp of ghee on top. Mix it really well. Turn off the flame. Transfer it to a serving bowl.
Serving:
Pour the rest of the ghee on top the halwa and garnish it with some cashews and almonds. Serve this mouth-drooling and finger-licking peanut & semolina halwa as it is as a dessert after any meal or have it whenever you crave for something sweet.

- Semolina – ½ cup (80 grams)
- Peanuts – ½ cup (80 grams) (roasted) (peeled)
- Sugar – less than 1 cup (200 grams)
- Ghee – ⅓ cup (80 grams)
- Raisins – 2-3 tbsp
- Cashews – 10-12
- Almond – 10-12
- Green cardamom – 5
