    Halim ladoo is very beneficial for the health of new mom’s. It is rich in iron, calcium, vitamin A, vitamin C, and vitamin E. These ladoos are very nutritious. Children as well as old age people can enjoy eating halim ladoos. These ladoos can also be helpful for people who have lack of vitamins in their body.

    Halim ladoos can be eaten during winters as it keeps our body warm. It is very easy to prepare at home with very few ingredients i.e. halim, coconut, jaggery, ghee and dry fruits. So, try out making halim ladoo with these easy to follow step-by-step instructions. Enjoy!

    Getting ready:

    Soak halim in ¼ cup of water for an hour. You can also use coconut water to soak halim.

    Transfer almonds in a mixer jar and churn it on mixer grinder to make fine powder of it. Keep it aside. Cut each cashew into 6-7 small pieces. Place it in a bowl.

    Place a pan on flame and add 1 tbsp of ghee into it. Once the ghee melts completely, add jaggery to it. Keep the flame on low and let the jaggery melt completely.

    Once the jaggery melts, add halim to it. Mix it really well. After that, add grated dry coconut into it. Mix it nicely and cook the mixture until the excess water gets evaporated.

    After 7-8 minutes, excess water has evaporated. Put the flame on low. Add chopped cashews, almond powder and green cardamom powder into the halim mixture. Keep stirring till everything is mixed properly.

    Everything is mixed completely. Mixture for ladoo is now ready. Turn off the flame. Transfer the halim mixture in a bowl. Allow it to cool down completely.

    Mixture has now cooled down. Grease the palms with some ghee and pinch some amount of mixture. Roll it out into round ladoo. Place it on a plate. Don’t make the ladoos too big. Halim mixture is very soft so ladoos will get prepared quickly. Similarly, prepare the rest of the ladoss until the mixture is utilized completely. Halim ladoos are now ready.

    Serve these healthy and delicious haleem ladoos as it is. Keep the ladoos in open air for ½ and hour so that they cool down completely and become firm. Place these ladoos inside refrigerator and enjoy for 10-12 days and if kept outside the refrigerator then have it within 6-7 days. Enjoy!

    Suggestions

    • If you want to use fresh coconut then grate the coconut. Fry it in ghee until its moisture eve[orates completely.
