    Cashew pistachio cookies are liked the most because of their sweet and tempting flavor. These cookies have been all time favorite.     Getting ready:

    Take cashews in a mixer jar and grind it into a fine powder. Transfer it to a bowl. Peel green cardamom and crush its seeds into a fine powder using a mortar pestle. Take it out in a bowl.

    Grease two baking trays with some ghee or butter. Spread the ghee evenly on them.

    Take melted butter into a big mixing bowl. Make sure that the butter is not too hot. It can be touched bare-handed. Now add powdered sugar into the butter and mix it well while whisking it continuously until the mixture turns even and fluffy.

    After that, add cashew powder, green cardamom powder, refined flour and baking powder. Mix everything really until the mixture turns doughy. Knead the dough by adding milk in small portions. 2 tbsp of milk is used for kneading this much of mixture. Dough for making cookies is now ready.

    Make a big ball of the dough. Dust the rolling board and rolling pin with some flour. Roll out the dough into 1/3 cm thick circle with the help of the rolling pin. Dough is now rolled aptly.

    Take a heart shaped cookie cutter and cut out the cookies. Place the cookies on the greased tray at particular distance. Now cut the pistachios in thin slices and place them on the cookies.

    Place the cookies tray on the stand inside the microwave and bake them on 180 degree centigrade for 12 minutes on convection mode. After 12 minutes, take the tray out. Cookies are not baked aptly. So, place it back inside the microwave and bake it again for 3 more minutes. After that, check the cookies. They have turned golden brown in colour. Cookies are now baked aptly.

    Roll out the remaining dough and prepare the rest of the cookies until the dough is utilized completely. Place these cookies on another greased baking tray. Preheat another oven at 150 degree centigrade. Place the cookies tray on middle rack inside the oven and bake the cookies for 8 minutes on 150 degree centigrade. After 8 minutes, take the cookies tray out. Cookies have turned golden brown from top. These cookies are baked aptly as well.

    Both the batch of cookies is ready. They have cooled down completely. Transfer the cookies on a serving plate.
