Raw Banana Chips Recipe Video in Hindi
Banana wafers or banana chips is an easy and simple recipe prepared with raw or unripe bananas. Crispy Raw Banana Chips and Hot Tea make a best snack-time combination. Directions
Getting ready:
Rinse the bananas thoroughly and peel them. Remove the green layer well from the bananas.
Making:
Take water in a vessel and add salt and turmeric powder into it and mix it well.
Cut the bananas with the chips cutter or with knife into equal thin slices. Let the bananas soak in water for 5 minutes.
After 5 minutes, transfer the sliced bananas on the sieve to drain excess water from it. After that, spread them on a kitchen towel for 2 minutes to remove leftover water. Let them dry completely.
Heat enough oil in a pan or a wok to deep fry the chips. Drop a banana slice to check whether the oil is aptly hot or not. Then put as many chips as possible into the oil. Don’t crowd the oil. Keep the flame low. Fry them on low flame until they become crisp. It can take 5-6 minutes for them to turn crisp.
Lift the chips with a slotted ladle and hold it against the pan and let the excess oil get drained back into the pan. Take out the fried banana chips on kitchen paper towel. Similarly fry rest of the chips. Raw banana chips are now ready.
Serving:
Serve these crunchy-munchy raw banana chips with steaming hot cup of tea or coffee. After they cools down completely store the chips in an airtight container for over a month and eat them whenever you want.
